I created the concept, designed the characters and drew the storyboards for this series of NBC bumpers. Using my model sheets and sketches, sculpturer Tony McVey did an excellent job in capturing my cartoon likenesses when building the 3-D puppets.  They were animated frame by frame, stop-motion style, by the brilliant Dave Allen.
